The Long Story

Hi, I’m Ashley Ball—founder of Mended Roots, holistic health coach, yoga instructor, and lifelong learner.

Getting here has been a journey—one that’s been anything but perfect or linear. Like many women, I’ve had seasons where I felt disconnected from myself, unsure of my next step, and weighed down by the pressure to do it all. Through those moments, I began to realize that true wellness wasn’t about chasing perfection or following a rigid plan. It was about something much deeper—learning to listen, to slow down, and to mend the relationship I had with myself.

Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in the practices of yoga, mindfulness, and nutrition, not only to better my own life but to create a way to serve others. Becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher and completing advanced training in health coaching gave me the tools to support women with practical steps—but my greatest lessons have come from my own lived experiences. Every stumble, every breakthrough, and every “begin again” moment has shaped the way I show up for my clients.

Mended Roots was born from this truth: when we ground ourselves in self-awareness, we can rise into confidence, clarity, and a more vibrant life. Through one-on-one coaching, group programs, and workshops, I help women reconnect to their roots—mind, body, and spirit—so they can feel more balanced, confident, and whole.

I’m still learning every day, and I believe that’s part of the beauty of this work. My role isn’t to give you all the answers—it’s to walk beside you, create space for your growth, and remind you that you already carry so much wisdom within you.
